Stillmoor

Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026 · published by Baker Ventures LLC

These terms govern your use of Stillmoor, an app published by Baker Ventures LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading, installing or using Stillmoor, you agree to them. Stillmoor is in development and has not been released yet; these terms govern the app as built and may be updated before it ships.

What Stillmoor is

You pick the moment you are in rather than a length of time. Stillmoor composes a practice for it in four movements — Arrive, Settle, Steady and Close — each with its own breath count and its own written cue, and shows you that composition before you start. It can run the whole practice with the screen black and the guidance in haptics, and it keeps a plain log of the practices you have finished. With your permission it adds finished practices to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes.

Stillmoor is a practice app, not treatment. It is not therapy, not medical care and not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, does not assess your mental or physical state, and makes no claim about relieving stress, anxiety, sleeplessness or any other condition. It is not a substitute for a doctor, a therapist or any other qualified professional, and it is not a crisis service.

If you are in crisis

Stillmoor cannot help in an emergency and does not monitor anybody. Nothing in the app detects distress, scores how you are, or alerts anyone on your behalf. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. The app's support screen lists the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for users in the United States, and findahelpline.com elsewhere. Those services are run by other organisations, not by us, and we are not responsible for them.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Stillmoor writes finished practices to Apple Health as mindful sessions. It requests permission to write that one type and requests no permission to read anything. Entries it writes are your records, held by Apple; deleting Stillmoor does not remove them, and you can delete them or revoke access in the Health app. The Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

Your data

Your practice log stays on your device. There is no account and no server, so there is nothing for us to lose, and also nothing for us to restore if you change or wipe the phone. Keep your own device backed up if the log matters to you.

Price

Stillmoor is free in this version. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising, and no feature held behind a payment. If that ever changes, it changes in a future version with its own terms, and never retroactively for something you already have.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer the app, interfere with its normal operation, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law. The cues, artwork, icon and composition logic in Stillmoor are written and generated by Baker Ventures LLC and remain ours; you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app, not a licence to republish its content.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Stillmoor is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baker Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Do not use eyes-free mode, or any part of the app, while driving or doing anything else that needs your attention. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated version. We may suspend access for misuse of the app or breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
